The quantity of water used in experiments:
The experiments were carried out using the approved quantity of applied liquid of 200 L/ha. The MI6 fertiliser was applied at a concentration of 0.1% (i.e. 100 mL per 100 L of water).
Preparation of the applied liquid
Experiments on the influence of the foliar fertiliser MI6 on the complex behaviour of tank mixtures (so-called tank-mixes) consisting of foliar fertilisers and the selected plant protection agents were performed as follows:
The measured dose of the MI6 fertilisers was added to volumetric vessels (1 L volume) half filled with water. The dose of foliar fertiliser appropriate for that amount of water was then slowly poured in and the liquid was thoroughly stirred. Next, the plant protection agent (PPA) was added to the liquid containing foliar fertilisers, in the appropriate unit dose (per 1.0 L of the applied liquid) and topped up with water up to 1.0 L. In the case of PPAs formulated as powders (e.g. WP), the preparation was pre-dissolved in a small quantity of water (approx. 100 ml) and poured into the water already containing the fertiliser or mixture of fertilisers (the entire preparation was topped up with water up to 1.0 L of the applied liquid).
The resulting mixture was placed in graduated cylinders (1.0 L) and evaluated in terms of parameters such as fraction precipitation, layer separation and sediment formation on the bottom, 1, 3, 6 and 24 h after mixture preparation.
In addition, the resulting liquid was subjected to a pH measurement – using electronic control and measuring devices – 24 hours after preparation.
